Explanation

You have tried to change the status of a volume or to obtain a scratch volume for your use. The selected volume is system-managed and the DFSMSrmm request to update the volume status in the volume catalog failed.

In the message text:
code
This is the return code that is set by the CBRXLCS macro.
reason_code
This is the reason code that is set by the CBRXLCS macro.

System action

The subcommand fails.

Refer to z/OS DFSMSdfp Diagnosis for a description of the possible codes. Correct the error and retry the command.
