ERB224I

z/OS MVS System Messages, Vol 5 (EDG-GFS)
SA38-0672-00

ERB224I
sid: ‘input’ SKIPPED DUE TO PREVIOUS ERROR

Explanation

During input merge for the RMF™ Postprocessor, for the Monitor III data reporter, or for session sid, RMF detected an error, such as a syntax error. RMF skipped the incorrect input, which is written in the message, then attempted to validate the remaining input.

System action

When the error occurs during a session, RMF asks the operator for intervention: RMF issues message ERB305I, listing the current session options, followed by message ERB306D. RMF continues other processing.

When the error occurs during the Postprocessor session or the Monitor III data reporter, RMF substitutes the incorrect option with the default value, if one exists.

Operator response

Examine the options listed following message ERB305I and the skipped input to determine which options are missing. Respond to message ERB306D with the missing options or by entering ‘GO’.

System programmer response

When the error occurred during the Postprocessor or the Monitor III data reporter, correct the control statement that caused the error before using the Postprocessor or data reporter again.
