You must add a CDSID to your OPTION statement in EDGRMMxx before attempting to start DFSMSrmm on a release at z/OS R9 or higher. IBM® suggests that you implement a CDSID now and not wait until you migrate to z/OS V1R9. You can do this by adding a CDSID operand to the OPTION command in parmlib.
