Explanation
DFSMSrmm issues this message during tape data set
OPEN processing. An EDG_EXIT100 installation exit module has requested
to copy data set attributes from a source data set record to the copy
as part of tape copy application processing. The installation exit
module has provided details in the EDGPL100 parameter list for a source
data set record that is not defined to DFSMSrmm. The message indicates
that the copy of the data set attributes from the source data set
cannot be completed.
In the message text: target_dsn
Data set name of the target data set record.
VOLUME tvolser
Volume serial number of the target data set.
FILE tseq
Target data set file sequence number.
source_dsn
Data set name of the source data set record.
VOLUME svolser
Volume serial number of the source data set.
FILE sseq
Source data set file sequence number.
jobname
Name of a job identified to a system
stepname
Name of a step within a job. The procedure name is also provided
when available.
ddname
The data definition name

Tape open processing continues without copying
the data set attributes.

the EDG_EXIT100 installation exit module are most likely incorrect.
When the correct source data set record has been identified use the
RMM CHANGEDATASET subcommand with the COPYFROM operand to copy the
data set attributes manually. Refer toz/OS DFSMSrmm Managing and Using Removable Media for
the syntax of the subcommand. Use the target data set name record
details from the message text and the correct source data set record
details to ensure that the correct attributes are applied to the target
data set record.
