ERROR IN PARMLIB MEMBER=member ON LINE line-number, POSITION position-number. MKDIR VALUE CAN NOT BEGIN WITH /. input-line

Explanation

The system encountered an error in a parmlib member. The MKDIR parameter value can not begin with a slash(/). In the message text:

member
The name of the parmlib member containing the error.
line-number
The parmlib member line number containing the error.
position-number
The position of the error in the line. The position number is the number of columns from the left.
input-line
The text of the line containing the error.

System action

The system may ignore the erroneous statement or it may stop initialization after parsing completes. The system checks the rest of the parmlib member to find any other errors.

Operator response

None.

System programmer response

Remove the slash (/) from the beginning of the MKDIR value on the ROOT or MOUNT statement of the named BPXPRMxx parmlib member before using it again.
