See z/OS DFSMS Advanced Copy Services for requirements needed for the request. The problem could be that the device is associated with a storage subsystem that does not support the function needed by the specified keyword. If the request continues to fail, search problem reporting databases for a fix for the problem. If no fix exists, contact the IBM® Support Center.
