All subtasks except CONVERTV, DEFRAG, and data set DUMP and RESTORE bypass processing. Data set DUMP and RESTORE only do only data set filtering and not DUMP or RESTORE functions. CONVERTV does data set filtering and volume and data set eligibility tests, but does not actually convert any volumes. DEFRAG prints the fragmentation index but does not relocate data set extents.
