The PPRC Establish Path request attempted to create a FCP link on a FICON® adapter. Fibre Channel adapters can be configured for FICON communications or FCP communications, but not both communication protocols. PPRC paths require FCP adapters.
The command is rejected.
Confirm the FCP LINK address(es) are correct. See the storage subsystem Fibre Channel adapter configuration information from both the primary and secondary subsystems to ensure the Fibre Channel adapter numbers are correct. After making any changes or corrections, reissue the Establish paths request.
