Explanation

DFSMSdss could not complete the action described by action_description because the required ANTMAIN address space is not active.

The action_description can be one of the following:
  • THAW VOLUMES - DFSMSdss CGCREATE operation attempted to thaw volumes that were previously copied with the FCCGFREEZE option.
  • WITHDRAW FLASHCOPY RELATIONSHIP
A list of affected volumes be listed following the ADR843E message.

System action

The DFSMSdss operation ends. The return code is 8.

For a CGCREATE operation, I/O activity will automatically resume on the previously frozen volumes when the FlashCopy® Consistency Group timer expires.

Programmer response

For CGCREATE operation, ensure the ANTMAIN address is up and running normally. Resubmit the job if necessary.
