Use the MSGBUF parameter to specify the one contiguous buffer that is to receive the message. Please note, however, that you must provide sufficient storage to receive the entire message. If the storage cannot hold the entire message, the system will either program check or overlay storage. Furthermore, you cannot reissue IXCMSGIX to obtain the message data that couldn't fit in the buffer when you issued IXCMSGIX the first time.
