XES monitors the time required by the connector to respond to the user sync point event. If a response with either IXLUSYNC REQUEST=CONFIRM or IXLUSYNC REQUEST=CONFIRMSET is not received in a timely manner, XES issues a message for each connector owing a response to the event so that the system programmer or operator can take actions to allow processing to continue.
