CONFIGxx is a list of control statements that an installation can
use to define a standard configuration of system elements. The system
elements include the processors, storage, channel paths, devices, PCIE function identifiers (PFIDs), and
volumes. You can use the configuration defined in CONFIGxx in two
ways:
- To compare the differences between the current configuration and
the standard configuration as defined in a CONFIGxx member. When the
operator issues the DISPLAY command with the M=CONFIG(xx) option,
the system displays any differences.
- To reconfigure some of the system elements. The operator can issue
the CONFIG command with the MEMBER option.
