SYSCHK DD statement z/OS MVS JCL Reference SA23-1385-00 |
|
Purpose: Use the SYSCHK DD statement to define a checkpoint data set that the system is to write during execution of a processing program. Use this statement again when the step is restarted from a checkpoint written in the data set. Note: If restart is to begin at a step, as indicated by the RD parameter
on the EXEC statement, do not use a SYSCHK DD statement.
References: For detailed information about the checkpoint/restart facilities, see z/OS DFSMSdfp Checkpoint/Restart. |
