General sequence of commands

The following diagram illustrates the general sequence of FEPI commands that you use with data stream.

That is, a FEPI SEND, multiple FEPI RECEIVE commands that complete when all the data has been received, followed by another FEPI SEND.

The picture shows the general sequence of FEPI commands that you use with data stream. It shows: A FEPI SEND without INVITE. You use as many of these as you want, or NONE, to build up the data to send.A FEPI SEND with INVITE. You use exactly one of these, to send the data.A FEPI RECEIVE, to get the data. You check the ENDSTATUS, and issue as many more RECEIVE commands as are necessary to retrieve all the data.

Note: The diagram does not show any processing of the data, nor where you might enter, or leave, the loop. This information is explained more fully in FEPI application design.
