Limitations in working with IBM BPM documents

There are some limitations in working with IBM BPM documents. In most situations, you can successfully work around these limitations.

Some known limitations are:

The IBM BPM document store restricts document size to 1 GB (gigabyte) or less
The IBM BPM document store is not available on all platforms

These limitations are discussed in the following sections.

The IBM BPM document store restricts document size to 1GB or less

If you attempt to create or enhance a BPM document and it results in a document size that exceeds 1 GB, you will receive an error message that directs you to reduce the document size.
As a system administrator, you can use the document-attachment-max-file-size-upload option in the 100Custom.xml configuration file to control the document file size. For more information, see Configuring the file size of uploaded content management documents.
