Applying maintenance on Linux

From IBM® MQ 9.4.0, you apply maintenance by upgrading IBM MQ.

About this task

Maintenance updates are cumulative. You can apply your chosen update directly, without applying any previous updates first. The maintenance level updates might contain updates for one or more packages. Apply those parts of an update that correspond to the packages that are applied in your installation.

Procedure

To upgrade by using rpm, follow the steps in Upgrading an IBM MQ installation on Linux using the rpm command.
