Migrating the product

This section covers all aspects of migration, coexistence, and interoperability for AIX®, HP-UX, Linux®, Solaris, and Windows.

On distributed operating systems, WebSphere® Application Server supports both local and remote migrations to Version 9.0. Remote migrations are not supported on the IBM® i or z/OS® operating systems, so you cannot migrate to or from a machine that is running these operating systems.

The distributed operating systems fully support coexistence and interoperability, which includes migrating to a cloud.
