Stopping the server

To stop the License Metric Tool server, run the srvstop.sh or srvstop.batscript.

To stop the server, run the srvstop.sh script.

Before you begin

You must be a user who installed License Metric Tool or has root privileges to perform this task.
Note: 9.2.36 Starting from application update 9.2.36, systemd is used instead of init.d for starting and stopping the server.

Procedure

  1. Go to the License Metric Tool installation directory, by default /opt/ibm/LMT.
  2. Open the cli folder and run the srvstop.sh script.
  3. 9.2.36 To verify the status of License Metric Tool service, type systemctl status lmtserver in the command line.
  4. Optional: After you stop the server, check whether the DB2® instance is stopped.
    1. Log in to the computer where DB2 is installed as a DB2 instance owner.
    2. Type db2stop in the command line. The DB2 instance stops.

  2. Open the cli folder and run the srvstop.bat script.
