Installing quantities of serialized equipment into serialized build positions

You can add quantities of serialized equipment to a serialized build position. For example, you can add multiple life vests to an overhead bin.

About this task

To specify that a serialized build position includes a quantity of serialized equipment, in the Models application, on the Build Heirarchy and Position Rules tab, in the Position subtab, select the Serialized check box and specify a default quantity.

Procedure

  1. In the Aircraft application or the Equipment applications, select the top-level aircraft or piece of equipment and click the Aircraft Hierarchy tab or the Equipment Hierarchy tab.
  2. Right-click the node that contains the serialized build position that you want to edit.
  3. Select Install/Remove Equipment From Serialized Build Position.
  4. Select the Install Equipment subtab.
  5. Select the equipment records that you want to install and click OK.
