You can upload a DB2® fix
pack that can be used with and existing virtual system database pattern
deployment on the system.
Procedure
- In the console,
click Catalog > DB2 Fix Packs(Virtual
Systems).
- Click the Create New button.
- In the DB2 version field, select the DB2 version. For Linux operating systems, the DB2 fix pack name must use the following
format:
v<DB2_major_version>fp<FP_number><interin_fix>_linuxx64.
For example, the following names are valid:
- v10.5fp9_linuxx64
- v10.5fp9a_linuxx64
- v11.1.1fp2_linuxx64
- v11.1.1fp2a_linuxx64
If the DB2 fix pack that you downloaded from the DB2 fix pack center does not follow the naming
format above, you must rename the DB2 fix pack name before you upload it to Cloud Pak System Software. Otherwise, the correct DB2 fix
pack level will not be detected.
- In the DB2 fix pack file field,
click Browse, navigate to the location of the
fix pack, and click Open.
