Specifying work item constraints in the web client

Use constraints to impose fixed start or finish dates on a work item.

About this task

This feature is available only if you are using the Formal Project Management process template.

Procedure

  1. Open the work item.
  2. For the constraint, select either Start No Earlier Than or Finish No Later Than. The default value is As Soon As Possible.
  3. Enter the constraint date.
  4. Click Save.
