You can view the state of skipped resources for work item data source in the Lifecycle
Query Engine (LQE) in the
web client of IBM® Engineering Workflow
Management.
Before you begin
To view the state of skipped resources for work item data source in Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), you
must first set the Reports Diagnostics Rest Service server property:
- Log in to the server administration page of your web client, for example:
https://<host-name>:<port number>/ccm/admin.
- Click Advanced Properties, locate
com.ibm.team.rtc.common.internal.service.rest.reports.ReportsDiagnosticsRestService,
and click Edit.
- In the Properties section, in the URL of the LQE
Application field, type the URL for the LQE that is registered with your Jazz Team
Server, for example:
https://<host-name>:<port number>/lqe.Note: If the
LQE
application is installed on a different server than the CCM server, you must also establish a friend
relationship between the two servers. For details, see
Establishing friend relationships.
- Click Preview and then click Save.
About this task
You can view the state of skipped resources for change set link, change set, and tracking and
planning in the web client. The information helps you identify the causes of problems and suggests
how to fix them. If the cause of a skipped resource is that a work item is deleted, the message
displays so. New causes for skipped resources, not seen previously, are listed under Unknown
Errors.
To view the state of skipped resources in LQE on the
TRS Feed Diagnostics page:
Procedure

Log in to the server administration page of your web client, for example:
https://<host-name>:<port number>/ccm/admin.

In the top navigation pane, click TRS Feed Diagnostics.

In the left pane, select the TRS Feed that you want to view.
You can select:
- Change Set Link Resources
- Change Set Resources
- Process Resources
- Tracking and Planning Resources (TRS 2.0)

Navigate to the Skipped Resources tab. Click Check for
skipped resources. Resource, State, and Error Message are displayed. By default, the
state is Skipped.
Note:
Skipped resources is not applicable for Process Resources.
- To ignore a skipped resource, hover over the area before the resource name,
click the arrow button beside the check box and select Ignore.
Provide the reason to
ignore the resource. Click OK.
In the state column, the resource appears as
Ignored with an information icon next to it. Hover over the information icon to view the reason.
Ignored resources are not displayed as issues, on validation.
If a
resource is ignored and you need to change the state back to skipped, hover over the area before the
resource name, click the arrow button beside the check box and select Unignore.
By default, the table displays all the resources. To apply the filter,
click the down arrow and select Show Skipped to view only the skipped resources. Select Show Ignored
to view only the ignored resources.
You can also validate the data sources. In the top navigation pane, click
TRS Feed
Diagnostics and select the TRS feed, for example,
Process
Resources. To validate the TRS feed against the data in the repository, click
Validate. By default,
Resolve problems is checked. Click
Validate now.
