Enabling Batch Activity Dashboard customization in IBM Process Designer

To customize the Batch Activity Dashboard user interface, you must load the Batch Activity Dashboard into IBM® Process Designer, then make your changes.

Before you begin

Note: The administrator should ensure that the developer has permission to modify the Batch Activity Dashboard process application. For more information, see Granting IBM Process Designer access rights.

About this task

To enable customization of the Batch Activity Dashboard user interface within IBM Process Designer:

Procedure

  1. On your local system, go to the IBM Process Designer installation directory, such as C:\IBM\ProcessDesigner\<version>.
  2. Open Process Designer’s eclipse.ini file to confirm that the IBM Business Automation Workflow host and port values are correct in the following property:
    -Dcom.ibm.bpm.processcenter.url=http://<BAW-host>:<Port>
  3. Open a browser and navigate to http://<host>:<port>/ProcessCenter/login.jsp.
    Replace <host> and <port> with the specific host and port used by your installation of the Process Center.
  4. At the login page, provide your user name and password, then click Login.
    If you have already customized the Batch Activity Dashboard application, the Process Designer will automatically open it for you. If not, proceed to the next step to open it from Process Center.
  5. Click Process Center, then click Process Apps to list all of the applications.
  6. Locate the Batch Activity Dashboard application and click Open in Designer.

Results

You can now customize the Batch Activity Dashboard application in IBM Process Designer.
