You can install the WSRR Help System from the product installation launchpad on the following systems: Microsoft
Windows XP, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux V5 on IA32. After you install the WSRR Help System, you can update your local installation with the latest documentation.
About this task
Once you install the
WSRR Help
System, you can use it in either stand-alone mode or server mode:
- In stand-alone mode, the WSRR Help
System acts as a local help system.
- In server (or information center) mode, the WSRR Help
System with the documentation acts as a public documentation server
and allows other web browsers on your network to connect to the help
system on a specified port.
Having a local copy of the documentation gives you access
to the information you need to install, maintain, and use the WSRR –even
when you are not connected to the Internet.
