Configuring WSRR Business Space onto a Cluster with IBM HTTP Server

This topic contains an overview of the tasks required to install WSRR and Business Space into a Cluster which has an IBM HTTP Server.

Procedure

  1. Install WSRR onto a cluster or a managed server. See Installing on a cluster system to install onto a cluster or Installing on a managed server to install on a managed server. Ensure that all managed nodes or server systems have been installed or augmented with the WSRR custom profile, based on the managed.wsrr template. If the managed nodes or server systems are not installed or augmented with the WSRR custom profiles, Business Space will not work after all the configuration steps have been completed.
Note: To verify that the profile is augmented with the managed.wsrr template, run: manageprofiles -profileName <profile_name> -listAugments. For more information, see Verifying that a profile has been augmented.
  2. Deploy WSRR onto the cluster or managed server. See Deploying WSRR to clusters and federated servers for more information.
  3. Configure IBM® HTTP Server for WSRR. See Configuring IBM HTTP Server for WSRR for more information.
  4. Configure Business Space onto the cluster or managed server. See Configuring Business Space for more information. During step "Configuring REST endpoints", note the following:
    • If you are using a HTTP server to access your web modules for load balancing, use the host name and port settings of the HTTP server.
    • If your server is setup to be secure then be sure to use https as the protocol and the secure port number as the port in the endpoint otherwise security issues might occur when using the widgets
  5. Configure Business Space onto a WAS Cluster with IBM HTTP Server. See Configuring a HTTP Server for Business Space and WSRR for more information.
