You use the CMDB object lifecycle is used to describe the
status of federated objects in WSRR in synchronization with Tivoli
CCMDB.
The lifecycle can be applied to objects of the following type:
- AppServer
- AppServerCluster
- ComputerSystem
- J2EEServer
- JBossAppCluster
- JBossJ2EEServer
- OracleAppCluster
- OracleAppJ2EEServer
- WebLogCluster
- WebLogicServer
- WebSphereCluster
- WebSphereServer
The following table and diagram describe the states of the CMDB
object lifecycle, and, for each state, names the transition that moves
the object forward to that state.
Table 1. States of the CMDB lifecycle| Transition |
State |
Description |
| (Initial state) |
Synchronized_with_the_CMDB |
The object is synchronized with Tivoli CCMDB. |
| DeactivateCMDBObject |
Not_found_in_the_CMDB |
The object is deactivated. |
| ActivateCMDBObject |
Synchronized_with_the_CMDB |
The object is reactivated. |
| Retire_CMDB_Object |
Retired_CDMB_Object |
The Retired state indicates that the object
is no longer in use. |
The following table lists the URIs for the states and transitions:
