Working with the Wiring Properties design element in Domino Designer
The Wiring Properties design element gives you access to the WSDL file(s) within the composite application. This WDSL file references data types, properties, and actions available for each component in the composite application.
When working in IBM® Domino® Designer, the Wiring Properties design element lets you do many tasks necessary for developing a composite application.
- Importing WSDL files in Domino Designer
- Exporting WSDL files from Domino Designer
- Creating a new blank Wiring Property/Action Definition (WSDL file) from Domino Designer
- Merging existing WSDL files into a single file in Domino Designer
- Opening a WSDL file for editing in Domino Designer
- Using the Property Broker Editor in Domino Designer
- Refreshing a WSDL file in Domino Designer
- Specifying an alternate default property editor in Domino Designer
- Using data types in composite applications
- Provided data types for composite applications
With the exception of using the Property Broker Editor, most of the task described in this section can be done using one of three available methods:
- Clicking the associated action button in the Wiring Properties view.
- Selecting the action from the menu bar.
- Right-clicking the design element you wish to work with and selecting the action.
