Adding annotations to an XML schema

Before you import an .xsd file, you must add the required annotations to your XML schema. Depending on the complex types that you import, you add annotations to define events, entities, or relationships between events and entities.

If you want to import monitored event types from WebSphere® Message Broker or IBM® Integration Bus, you do not have to add annotations. For more information, see Importing event types from IBM Integration Bus.
