Customizing the Business console GUI

Decision Center provides a number of extension points that you can use to extend graphical components of the Business console.

Overview
You can define extension points for your custom elements, which reference JavaScript files with your custom code. You use methods from the Dojo class ExtensionMixin to select the context of your customization, style components with CSS, or retrieve data from the server.
Adding tabs and buttons
You can use methods from the Dojo class ExtensionMixin to add tabs or buttons in a branch, release, or activity. You can also add buttons in a view, for example for rules, decision tables, decision operations, or deployment configurations.
Adding a custom property editor
You can add a custom graphical interface for your business-specific rule properties with a custom property editor in the Business console.
Defining a Spring controller
The Business console web application relies on Spring MVC and you might want to use Spring controllers to serve HTTP requests.
