What is Storage Suite for Cloud Paks?
All Cloud Paks require persistent storage infrastructure. IBM® and Red Hat® have announced a new Cloud Pak Add-on which meets all Cloud Pak persistent storage infrastructure needs and includes our industry leadership software defined storage.
IBM Storage Suite for Cloud Paks offers a faster, more reliable way to modernize and move to the cloud through enterprise software-defined storage solutions. IBM Storage Suite for Cloud Paks has the following value propositions:
- Complete yet simple: Flexible storage capacity options (file, block, and object) to satisfy any workload requirement
- IBM Certified: Fully tested with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift® with ongoing security, compliance, and version compatibility
- Modular and consistent: Easy to consume, consistent storage services for containerized environments
Licensing options
IBM Storage Suite for Cloud Paks can be deployed with perpetual and committed term licenses priced by a Virtual Processor Core (VPC) metric. The Suite is available in two options – Standard Edition and Capacity Edition. All part numbers have a VPC entitlement conversion to capacity.
