Setting up a remote spell checker
Using a local spell checker is not supported on some operating systems. When you are using an operating system on which spell checker is not supported, you have the option to install and use the spell checker on a remote server. The table in this topic includes the operating system on which local spell check is supported. If you do not see your operating system in the table and want to use spell check, set up a remote spell checker. For example on z/OS, you must set up a remote spell checker to use spell check.
