What's new in IBM MQ 9.0.2

IBM® MQ 9.0.2 delivers a number of new and enhanced features on Linux®, Windows, and z/OS®.

The individual features provided by a CD release are stand-alone functions but may increase in capability in subsequent CD releases, enhancing earlier CD features and forming a suite of related capabilities.

• Enhancements for the administrative REST API

• Optional installation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
• Automatic management of linear log extents
• Automatic writing of media images
• Monitoring of IBM MQ queue managers and usage metrics through the IBM Cloud Product Insights service in IBM Cloud (no longer available. See Service Deprecation: IBM Cloud Product Insights.)
• Integration of Salesforce push topics and platform events with IBM MQ through the IBM MQ Bridge to Salesforce
• Debian installer for Linux Ubuntu
