DATA SET NAME PREFIX field
The DATA SET NAME PREFIX field specifies the input prefix for data sets that are to be created by the CLIST and installation, migration, and sample jobs.
| Acceptable values: | 1 to 18 characters that form a valid z/OS® data set name prefix |
| Default: | DSN1010 |
| DSNZPxxx: | none |
Several of these data sets are partitioned data
sets, which are deleted, if they exist, and are created or re-created
during the tailoring session.
If
you specify DSNTIDXA or DSNTIDXB in the INPUT MEMBER NAME field, the
prefix for fields 1, 2, and 3, and the prefix and suffix for fields
4, 5, and 6 on installation panel DSNTIPT: Data set names panel 1 are set.
If all
these data sets do not have the same prefix and suffix, you can change
them on installation panel DSNTIPT.
