Support for multiple data modules in a report
You can create a report that is based on multiple data modules.
PA data server connections (on Demand only)
In Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 FP1, Cognos Analytics users in an on Demand environment can connect to a TM1 data server.
New Apple push notifications certificate
In release 11.1.7 FP1, Cognos Analytics Mobile Report users must install a new Apple push notifications certificate. This certificate allows users to be notified on their iOS device about the availability of new IBM® Cognos® Analytics reports.
Salesforce URL connection change
Salesforce data server connections must use a new URL endpoint.
New REST APIs
REST API endpoints were added for data modules, data sources, and files.
Unresolved column references in data sets that were created or refreshed in 11.1.7.0
Cognos Analytics 11.1.7.0 data sets generate schema information where the column names are not consistent with those used in previous releases. This error is resolved in 11.1.7 FP1.
Supported URL for confirming that Content Manager is running
If you install only Content Manager on a computer, you can confirm that it is running. This is otherwise known as a health check. Enter this URL in a browser: http://content_manager_computer_name:9300/p2pd/servlet
