Installing

You can install either IBM Cloud Private or IBM® Cloud Private-CE.

There is one installer for IBM Cloud Private, which sets up either a single or multi-node cluster production environment. Regardless of which bundle you selected, either Cloud Native or Enterprise, you follow the same process of installing IBM Cloud Private. You can install IBM Cloud Private in either standard or high availability configurations. After installation, you can add extra components. For more information, see IBM Cloud Private bundles.

The IBM® Cloud Private-CE installation sets up a single or multi-node cluster for testing purposes only. This edition is a no charge option. This edition does not support management high availability. Also featured services such as Cloud Foundry, Cloud Automation Manager, and Vulnerability advisor are not available. You cannot upgrade from the Community Edition to the licensed editions of IBM Cloud Private.
