Testing the validity of SSL certificates in the Mobile Enterprise Gateway (MEG) trust store

The new Cloud Extender® Configuration Tool provides a diagnostic tool that checks the validity of SSL certificates against an internal resource on your network and lists the SSL certificates that are installed and stored in the Mobile Enterprise Gateway (MEG) trust store on the local system.

About this task

This feature is supported for the MaaS360® platform 10.71 release and requires IBM® MaaS360 Cloud Extender 2.96 and the new Cloud Extender Configuration Tool.

Procedure

  1. Open the new Cloud Extender Configuration Tool.
  2. Select the Enterprise Gateway tile, and then select More Options > Certificate Checker.

  3. Enter the URL for the remote site or resource that you want to check for valid SSL certificates, and then click OK.
    The status of the certificate is displayed as valid or invalid. If the certificate is invalid, the window displays which certificate is not trusted including the certificate serial number, subject, and issuer's subject.
