Updating the Amazon AWS account configuration in QRadar Cloud Visibility

After you set up the trusted and trusting AWS accounts, you must update the account configuration in the app.

Procedure

  1. Log in to IBM® QRadar®, and go to the Admin tab.
  2. Click Apps > Cloud Visibility > Configuration > AWS.
  3. Click AWS resource access permissions wizard, select Modify AWS account credentials or integration options, and then click Next.
  4. Enter your credential information for the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key from step 1f, and the Policy ARN from step 2e of the “Configuring a trusted account " topic.
QRadar Cloud Visibility1.4.0 and later supports multiple "Assume role policy" ARNs. Enter each ARN on a separate line in the field.
    Tip:
    • You can add up to 10 managed policies to an IAM user, role, or group.
    • The size of each managed policy cannot exceed 6,144 characters.
  5. Select the AWS partition and regions where your AWS resources are located.
Amazon cloud computing resources are hosted in locations all over the world, so when you view your resources, you see only the resources for the region you specify. For example, you might be located in the US region but need the AWS resources from the Asia Pacific or African regions.
  6. Click Next and complete the wizard.
