Remove and replace the model 7047-185 or 7037-A50 side cover

You might need to remove the cover to access components or perform service. Use the procedure in this section to accomplish this task.

To remove the side cover follow these steps:

Unlock the security lock A if it is locked, as shown in the following figure.
Press down on the latch B to open the cover and pull it away from the system unit.
Lift the panel out of the ledge on the bottom of the system unit.

Replace the side cover in a model 7047-185 or 7037-A50

You might need to replace the cover after accessing components or performing service. Use the procedure in this section to accomplish this task.

To replace the side cover follow these steps:

Insert the bottom lip of the cover into the ledge on the bottom of the system unit.
Rotate the panel up A until the latch snaps into place B, as shown in the following figure.

Lock the security lock C if needed.
