IBM released the following statement on the Senate’s passage of SESTA/FOSTA legislation to combat online sex trafficking:

“Today those who knowingly help sex traffickers use the internet to commit despicable crimes are closer than ever before to being held accountable. Victims have been given new hope that justice will be served.

“IBM commends Senators Portman and Blumenthal for their steadfast leadership on this crucial issue, and looks forward to seeing SESTA/FOSTA signed quickly into law.”
