Sahdev P. Zala is a senior software engineer and open source technical leader in the IBM Developer Ecosystem Open Technology division. Sahdev has 17+ years of software development experience including 8+ years of open source development work. In his current role, he is a Kubernetes contributor and serve as a maintainer in the etcd project. He is also a core reviewer in OpenStack, and a technical committee member of OASIS TOSCA. He is a founding Project Technical Lead (PTL) of OpenStack Heat Translator and TOSCA Parser projects. Earlier, he has worked on developing IBM software for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) and cross-product serviceability.
Sahdev is passionate about writing and he is author of IBM red books, developerWorks articles, blog posts and other technical docs. He has been a speaker at various KubeCon, IBM Think, FinTech, OpenStack summits, All Things Open, European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) conference and local meetup.
