Managing business units
Business units serve as the structure in which you monitor Digital Analytics for Social Media feeds and reports.
Business units are collections of website client IDs, Facebook feeds, Twitter feeds, and users. They serve as flexible structures for grouping and rolling up reporting data across your selected businesses, divisions, geographies, or any other reporting groups you want to separate. Therefore, you can create various business units to monitor different feeds and reporting for the various interests and aspects of your business instead of including it all in one set of reports.
Business units are defined by a user with Administrative access or Business Unit Manager access. A business unit must have one or more client IDs, feeds, and users associated to it, and each client ID, feed, and user can also be associated with multiple business units, depending on how you want to allocate reporting access.
To view the details of an existing business unit, select it from the list and view its associations at the bottom of the screen. There you see what client IDs (websites) the reporting data comes from, what Facebook and Twitter feeds this business unit is tracking, and what users have access to that business units' reports.
