Removing and replacing the I/O backplane

Use this procedure to remove, replace, or install the I/O backplane in the IBM® PowerLinux™ 7R4 (8248-L4T), the IBM Power® 750 (8408-E8D), and the IBM Power 760 (9109-RMD) systems.

Figure 1 shows the 8248-L4T, 8408-E8D, or 9109-RMD I/O backplane.
