Tabbed workspace overview

A feature of the group and personal workspaces is the ability to have multiple tabs that display your widgets. The tabs help you organize your workspace and quickly access the widgets.

The default tab labels in the group workspace are File Activities and GRC. In the personal workspace, the default tab names are Tab 1 and File Activities. Click the tabs to move between the pages to view your widgets. You cannot move widgets from one tab to another tab.

The following options are available when you click the Actions Menu icon:
  • Click New Tab to create a new tab.
  • Click Rename This Tab to change the name of tab that is provided with IBM® Control Center or a new tab.
  • Click Remove This Tab to delete a tab from your workspace.
  • Click Order Tabs to reorganize the order of your tabbed workspaces.
You can complete the same actions that are in the Actions Menu if you right-click within the global area of your workspace.
