Rolling back to the previous version of Netcool/Impact

You can roll back your Netcool/Impact installation to the previous version of Netcool/Impact.

About this task

After you complete installation of a newer Netcool/Impact version or fix-pack, you might want to roll back from the newer version to the previous version of Netcool/Impact. Rollback is different from uninstall, as an uninstall removes Netcool®/Impact entirely.
If you need to roll back Impact to the previous version, complete the rollback process in the following order:
  1. Roll back the GUI Server.
  2. Roll back the Impact Server.

Complete the procedure below to complete the rollback.

Note: When you roll back to a previous version of Netcool/Impact, the process rolls back the binaries and all configurations. If you have made any configuration changes in the Fix Pack, they will be lost by the roll back process.

Procedure

  2. Start Installation Manager. Enter the following commands.
    • On Windows.
