Job plan sequences
You can assign a sequential list of job plans to a PM record. Using a job plan sequence, you can schedule different levels of preventive maintenance work at specified intervals.
For example, you can assign monthly, quarterly, and yearly job plans for work on an asset. The monthly job might be several simple maintenance tasks, while the quarterly and yearly jobs might be increasingly more complex. When you assign a sequence number to each job plan, you specify which job plan is selected each time a PM work order is generated from the PM record.
You can add multiple job plans to a PM record at different intervals. For example:
- A monthly basic inspection of a turbine
- A quarterly inspection of its components
- A yearly inspection of the turbine and its feeder system.
Within each job plan sequence entry, you can specify clearance and impact plans requirements. Using the information that you provide, the PM record can potentially generate a working clearance, a working impact plan, and one or more permit records for the generated PM work order.
