You must setup Android Enterprise in IBM®
MaaS360® using either
Managed Google Play Accounts or Google Workspace to use Android Enterprise features.

You can also skip this step for now and set up later from
. Follow these steps to configure Android Enterprise setup from
the Quick Start.
Important: You cannot use Android Enterprise features unless you
configure Android Enterprise.
Procedure

From the IBM
MaaS360 Quick Start home
page, click Get Started.
If Apple Enrollment setup is complete,
you are directed to the Setup Android Enterprise screen.
- From the Setup Android Enterprise wizard, follow the steps that
apply to your scenario.
- To enable setup through Managed Google Play Accounts (if you do not use G Suite for
Business), follow the steps.
- Click Sign up for Android Enterprise.
- On the Google sign-in page, enter an email address in Create
Admin Account and click Next. You can sign up using the following
accounts.
Important: It is recommended to use an email address associated with your
organization for onboarding. This ensures smooth and secure operations and enhance your integration
with Google services.
- Follow these steps on the Google sign-in pages to complete the setup for Android
Enterprise.
- If you want to enable setup by using Google Accounts (G Suite for Business), follow the steps.
- Enter the Domain Name and the EMM Token.
Note: To
identify the EMM token, sign in to the Google Admin console as a super administrator to generate an
EMM token or copy an existing token.
- Enable the option to sync user information from MaaS360 to the G Suite user directory if needed. Enabling this option deletes the user in the
G Suite directory if the user is also deleted in MaaS360.
Any updates to user attributes in MaaS360 (such as
username or phone number) are synced to the G Suite directory.
- Click Continue and save the Android Enterprise details.
Results
The Android Enterprise setup is complete. If necessary, you can edit the existing Android
Enterprise setup. These steps are the same as configuring Android Enterprise for the first time.
