Applying filters

You can use filters to customize the graph or table view to display only selected content.

Procedure

  1. Select the workbench Filters icon to display the View filters panel.
  2. Select one or more filters and apply them. Filters can isolate content by use cases, partitions, runtime calls, or labels.

The following image identifies the filter controls with numbered callouts. Table 1 describes the filter controls.

Filter control descriptions

Table 1 describes the filter controls that are identified by numbered callouts.

1 Show runtime calls Show the runtime call connections between classes in the graph view.
2 Show containment relationship Show the containment relationship connections between classes in the graph view.
3 Runtime calls to utility partition Show the runtime call connections to the utility partition in the graph view.
4 Filter by use cases Show only the classes that are associated with the selected use cases.
5 Filter by partitions Show only the selected partitions.
6 Filter by labels Show only the selected product or user-created labels.
7 Filter graph/table by runtime call volume Show only a minimum or maximum number of runtime calls.
8 Apply filter button Apply the selected filters. By default, the button is unavailable.
9 Reset filters button Clear any selected or applied filters.
