Top inbound sources widget

The top inbound sources widget answers the question "What sources are most successful in driving traffic to my site?" This helps you to better understand demand generation.

About this task

The top inbound sources widget is not available to users without access to the selected site. You can add or remove the top inbound sources widget from your dashboard. You can have up to 10 sources in your top inbound sources widget. The top inbound sources widget must be configured.

To configure this widget:

1. After you add the top inbound sources widget to your dashboard, hover over the Widget Toolset icon and select the Configuration icon .
2. In the Settings - Inbound Sources dialog box, set up the following:
   • Name: Change the title of the widget (optional).
   • Site/Domain: Select a domain or landing page site from the list.
   • Date Range: Select the number of days you want to see data for.
   • Number of sources to display: Select the number of inbound sources you want to see in the widget.
   • Filter by Inbound Source: Select the type of source you want to see in the widget. Your choices are Inbound Mailings, Social Share, Social Referrer, Lead Sources, Referring Sites, and Search Engines.

   
3. Click Update.

   The top inbound sources widget displays on your dashboard.
