This section illustrates using the DB2® Control Center to test the database connection.
Invoke the DB2 Control Center,
shown in
Figure 1.

Select the plus sign (
) to the left of the z/OS® system
that is running the
DB2 on z/OS subsystem
that owns your
Tivoli Data Warehouse repository;
then expand its list of databases. The list should include the database
you're using.
To again check your database connection, right-click your database
name, and select
Connect from the pop-up menu,
as shown in
Figure 2.

The Connect to the
database window, shown

Enter the user ID and password for the remote
DB2 on z/OS database,
and press the
OK button.
