What's new in IBM Cloud Private Cloud Foundry version 3.1.1

Feature enhancements
- IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry version 3.1.1 introduces IBM Cloud Private Cloud Foundry console version 2. Use the IBM Cloud Private Cloud Foundry console to create and manage your Cloud Foundry applications and services. You can also manage multiple Cloud Foundry platforms, including IBM Cloud Public.
- Installation console for managing and monitoring IBM Cloud Private Cloud Foundry deployments.
- Moved from BOSH releases to Cloud Foundry BOSH deployments (see versions).
- BOSH Backup and Restore is available. For more details, see BOSH Backup and Restore .
- Backups of the UAADB, CCDB, Director, and the deployments are available. See Configuring backups for IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry for more information.
- HA Proxy is no longer supported as part of Cloud Foundry deployment. Instead, Go Router instances will be configured to host wildcard system and application domain certificates.
- IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry now provides a Helm chart called ibm-osb-database which can be deployed as a cluster service broker into IBM Cloud Private and is built to the Open Service Broker API specification. See Implementing Open Service Broker (OSB) database in IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry.
- IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry allows you to configure forwarding of local syslog events with an embedded extension. See Configuring forwarding of platform system logs.
- You can now manage all deployment parameters from the IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry user interface. See Installing IBM Cloud Private Cloud Foundry with the user interface.
- IBM® Cloud Private Cloud Foundry now supports AWS. See Specifying AWS parameters to set the parameters for your AWS infrastructure.
Other enhancements
- Cloud Foundry was upgraded to version 4.5.0
- All Cloud Foundry deployments are precompiled with Stemcell version 3586.42, which includes many enhancements and security fixes. Ubuntu Xenial Stemcell 97.16 is used for the BOSH director deployment.
